You Must Avoid This Deficiency
Winter is coming.
The temperature is cooling, the clocks have gone back, and the days are shorter.
And what does all this mean, other than the fact we need to wrap up warmer?
Well, mainly that our bodies will be lacking vitamin D (because the main way we get vitamin D is from exposure to the sun).
And that can cause some big problems…
Problems Caused by Deficiency
For example, a lack of vitamin D can have an adverse effect on your immune system, muscle function, bone health and the health of your teeth.
Vitamin D is also very important for children – playing a part in bone development and normal function of their immune system.
How to Avoid a Deficiency
So clearly vitamin D is important for everyone’s health, and avoiding a deficiency is crucial.
This is why I believe pretty much everyone within the UK and Ireland, especially at this time of year when we don’t get much sun, should be including some form of Vitamin D3 supplementation within their diet (D3 is much more effective than D2).
We offer this as a standalone supplement in our “Advanced D3”, but we also include 1000iu per day in our fantastic “Advanced Multi” which includes vitamin D and much, much more.
