Use this to sleep better...
How’s your sleep been lately?
Sleep is so important for your health, with a lack of it very much associated with increased health problems and symptoms.
Certain nutritional deficiencies have been linked with sleep…
Firstly, there’s vitamin D.
I mention often the importance of avoiding a vitamin D deficiency because of the effects that can have on your overall wellbeing.
It affects our immune system and bone health, for example.
But it seems that it may also impact our sleep…
You see, vitamin D3 has been shown to affect our production of Melatonin, which is our sleep hormone.
It helps to regulate when we are asleep and when we are awake.
Those who are deficient in vitamin D will likely, therefore, struggle with the quality of their sleep.
Unfortunately, during the winter especially, most people, unless they live in a sunny part of the world, will find they are deficient in this vital vitamin.
That’s why I recommend that pretty much everyone especially those who suffer with their health use a supplement such as “Advanced D3” or “Advanced Multi” to keep their levels topped up.
I should also mention Magnesium.
Recent studies have shown that most people are deficient in magnesium due to a range of factors, but primarily because of the stressful lives we lead and how hard it is to get enough from the diet alone.
Optimal levels of magnesium have been shown to be important for numerous reasons, psychological function and nervous system function which is perhaps why many of our customers mention how it helps to support their sleep.
It also contributes to normal muscle function so potentially helps with muscular issues that affect sleep.
“Advanced Magnesium” supplement contains the most well absorbed forms of magnesium that have a non-laxative effect.
It is thought that perhaps vitamin D3 taken at night can actually disturb your sleep so I personally take “Advanced Multi” first thing in the morning with my breakfast - and my melatonin levels are raring to go and help me sleep by the time night comes around.
And then I take Advanced Magnesium just before bed.
