3 Foods to Help Support Eye Health
Eye health is so important yet often forgotten about (until problems arise).
We are given only one set of eyes, and if we lose our vision, we can’t simply go out and get eye transplants!
The good news is, we can take steps to help support eye health, and minimise the chances for problems in the future…
Certain foods can play a part in doing that. Here are 3 that may help:
1. Fish
Not just any fish, but oily fish high in omega 3, such as wild salmon, mackerel, and sardines.
The omega 3 in fish also supports brain and heart, amongst other things.
For people who don’t eat enough oily fish, then our Advanced Fish Oil can be a great option…

2. Fruit and Vegetables
At the top of the leafy green list is kale and spinach, but Swiss chard, collard greens, Brussels sprouts, and broccoli are also extremely beneficial, as they are quite high in lutein and zeaxanthin (which is linked with supporting eye health).
3. Liver
Liver / organ meats are extremely nutritious, and in particular contain Vitamin A which can contribute towards normal vision.
We appreciate that not everyone wants to eat liver on a regular basis, and that’s another reason why our Advanced Multi can be beneficial as it contains Vitamin A, as well as Vitamin B2 which also can help to support eye health.
A wide, varied, nutritious diet is extremely important for overall health and eye health, but supplements, such as those mentioned above, can help bridge the gap between what we’re lacking in our foods, and our nutritional needs for excellent eye health.

Don’t leave it too late, your eyes are too important!
