3 Common Health Mistakes
Over the years we’ve all made a few mistakes.
It could be in any area of our lives…
Money.
Jobs.
Our chosen sport.
Our love life.
But here’s some of the most common we see in people struggling with their health …
Mistake #1
One of the biggest is where people think “think” they are eating healthy foods but really aren’t.
That’s not their fault.
It’s the fault of the people selling the products or fad diets, and all the poor information coming from the media, celebrity “experts” and even the government.
So many foods that are labelled as “healthy” or containing “added vitamins and minerals” will often do you much more harm than good.
Nowadays, when I see things like that written on food labelling it sets alarm bells ringing because these claims are almost always made to hide up the other rubbish that has been put into the product (it’s often the same with products that have been labelled “gluten free”).
Of course, everyone is different and respond differently to different foods, but just because something is labelled as healthy (even if that’s generally true) doesn’t mean it’s going to be good for YOU.
Mistake #2
Another mistake is believing that a “low fat” food is going to be good for you.
Not only are fats generally very important for your health, energy and hormones (the right fats are at least), but when something is labelled “low fat” there is often a LOT of rubbish that’s been added to it (sugar or artificial sweeteners especially).
You’re often much better off with the full fat version.
Mistake #3
Finally, it’s the mistake of believing ALL supplements are the same in terms of effectiveness and quality.
A turmeric supplement is not the same as all turmeric supplements.
A fish oil is not the same as all fish oils.
A multivitamin is not the same as all multivitamins.
A probiotic is not the same as all probiotics.
The ingredients that go into those things can VASTLY differ and so the effect it will have on your body will vastly differ.
