“My finger joints on my right hand feel like they're being crushed from the inside.”
My friend Deborah would often say this to me until…
She discovered a simple way to ease her pain.
I’ll tell you what Deborah did to find much-needed pain relief in just a second.
But first, let me explain how she actually found it.
When the government announced the second lockdown, Deborah got very upset.
Just like many people of her age, she hadn’t seen her children and grandkids for months.
She missed them dearly.
And Zoom calls weren’t doing it for her anymore.
She wanted to give them a hug, to have dinner with them, and to lose the track of time during a long, heart-warming conversation.
So the news of another lockdown upset Deborah a lot.
But the stress of it all also made her wrist joints ache even more than ever.
She got diagnosed with joint inflammation a while ago, but with all the stress of 2020…
The pain got worse.
So one night, unable to sleep because of her pain, she decided to search the internet for a remedy.
While she was online, Deborah discovered Dr Jo and her YouTube channel.
Dr Jo is a physical therapist who has a loyal following.
There, Deborah found a short video demonstrating stretches for painful hands.
And amazingly, after just a couple of days of doing these short drills, her pain subsided.
It didn’t go away completely, but her hands and fingers were suddenly far more flexible.
She no longer struggled to hold pots and pans.
And she could even carry her grocery bags with only the tiniest bit of pain.(Whereas before, she’d be gritting her teeth after travelling just 10 yards with them.)
Excited by these results, she called me and told me everything about Dr. Jo.
So I went to check her out.
I tried the stretches… and to my surprise, even my younger hands are feeling much better.
It feels like I’ve got much more grip strength.
So I wanted to share this video with you too.
In case you struggle with sore knuckles, try these stretches here by Dr. Jo.
